"Where comedians come to play".

London’s (and probably the World's) longest running comedy night for professional comics to try out new material.

"London's best kept comedy secret".

Resident host DOMINIC HOLLAND (Perrier Award winning comedian, as seen on Have I Got News For You, The Royal Variety Performance, The News Quizz) presents an evening of the UKs top comedians  trying out their brand new material at the worlds longest running new material night for professional comedians.
Where it all started...

The Fortnight Club was started nearly 30 years ago by Alan Davies (QI, Jonathan Creek, Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled), and Jenny LeCoat  (writer of Another others Son, Eastenders, Holby City). They were joined by other comics including Harry Hill, Brenda Gilhooly (Gail Tuesday) and Bill Bailey and later Lee Hurst (They Think It's All Over) plus a host of talented young comedians who wanted a fun venue where they could try out their new material.

The club has run every two weeks (or so) at various locations around London ever since.

Top acts...

Whilst TV profile acts regularly do drop in, occasionally unbilled, the line-up of acts always consists of a carefully curated bill of professional comedians. The line-up often changes at very short notice (we try and keep changes updated on social media).

New material...

The comedians will be trying out new material in various stages of it's development . They may even bring notes on stage! It's always great fun and very exciting...

The venue...

The Fortnight Club is currently located at The Southgate Club, 17 Chase Side, London, N145BP (entrance to comedy club via rear of social club on Crown Street).
